Rahu lagan wala aib zaroor palta hai. Jahan bhi Sooraj ho tewe mein use zaroor galta hai.
The one with Rahu in the Ascendant definitely nurtures a vice. Wherever the Sun is in the horoscope, it definitely melts/destroys it.
The 1st house (Lagan) represents the mind and the physical body. Rahu is the planet of addiction, smoke, and eclipses.
When Rahu sits in the 1st house, it creates a powerful psychological urge for intoxication. Dr. Sharma warns that this person will almost certainly develop a bad habit or addiction ("aib zaroor palta hai"), such as smoking, drinking, or gambling.
But the real danger is what this habit does to the rest of the chart. Rahu is the sworn enemy of the Sun. By indulging in these dark habits, the person's Rahu becomes so strong that it literally "melts" or destroys ("galta hai") the Sun in their chart, ruining their career, their reputation, and their father's health.
