🌊 THE OCEAN OF SORROW: The Deep Melancholy of Moon in the 8th 🌙

Aankhon mein nami hi rehti hai, dhan daulat ki kami hi rehti hai. Chandra aaya jab aath mein, umar samandar lambi par gami hi rehti hai.
There is always moisture in the eyes, there is always a lack of wealth. When Moon comes in the 8th, the lifespan is as long as the ocean, but sorrow always remains.

The 8th house is the house of death, the occult, and deep, dark waters. The Moon (Chandra) is the planet of emotions, peace, and the mother.

When the gentle Moon falls into the dark 8th house, it creates a very heavy, melancholic placement. Dr. Sharma explains that this person often has a permanent sadness or "moisture" in their eyes ("aankhon mein nami"). They may also struggle to accumulate liquid cash ("dhan ki kami").

The irony of this placement is that the 8th house Moon grants a very long life ("umar samandar lambi"), but that long life is often filled with emotional struggles and a deep, unexplainable sorrow ("gami hi rehti hai").
