Dr. Sharma shatters the mechanical, ritual-obsessed mindset of modern religion and commercial astrology.
Many people believe that by performing endless Poojas, chanting mantras for hours, or doing expensive astrological remedies, they can force God (or the planets) to grant their wishes. Dr. Sharma points out a profound mythological truth: the greatest demons (Danavas) in Hindu scriptures, like Ravana or Hiranyakashipu, performed the most intense, grueling Poojas and austerities. Yet, they remained demons.
Rituals without love are just mechanical transactions. Dr. Sharma teaches that you can limit your rituals, but your love for the Divine must be limitless ("aseemit"). God reveals Himself to love (Bhakti), not to mechanical chanting.
